Henri Dieupart & Simonet Frères

• The firm of Simonet Frères, begun by Albert and Charles Simonet, specialized in bronze work and restoration but in the mid 1920s, their focus shifted toward lighting.

• W the employment of the design genius of sculptor and glassmaker Henri Dieupart, the firm produced intricate works of pressed glass with bronze mounts and accents which eventually became secondary to the glass.

• Simonet Frères participated in many exhibitions, including the Exposition of Modern Art and the Great Lighting Competition in 1924 and the Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Insdustriels Modernes in 1925.
