A large gilded “Versailles” hanging lantern attributed to Escaré & Danelle, London. The moulded glass (of prismatic form) sits between heavily cast brass or bronze neo-classical mounts with Ram’s head and acanthus decoration. The light maintains the original chain for suspension with replacement ceiling hook. England early c.20th
